Documenting crafts, restoring buildings, walking the old routes
INTACH Uttarakhand is the state arm of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage, founded in 1984. Its four chapters document living crafts, conserve buildings such as Shore's Well and the Lansdowne Cemetery, support a community of ten small museums, and take schools out onto the heritage trails.
